A stunning five year development programme which will make a massive contribution to the new look of the waterfront on the Clyde in Glasgow. The site of the old Graving Docks will be developed with over 900,000 square feet of new buildings. A mixture of commercial and residential properties will be included, bars, restaurants and other leisure facilities will add to the amenity of the site and provide a valuable attraction to those who will chose to live and work on the waterfront. The nearby SECC, Science Centre and other proposed developments for the area, including a new HQ for BBC Scotland, all point to the waterfront becoming a major focal point in Glasgow life. The partners involved in this development are Bishop Loch and Windex, the masterplan has been commissioned from the Paris based architects of Valode and Pistre. The project will transform the site which has lain empty for over 20 years and help bring back commercial and residential life to Clydeside. |
